Yes, will add for you! Frustrating. Painful. Feelings of 'why?' Scared.

It is not a fun thing to be the caretaker, she will learn so much about herself from the experience. She will come out a different person. Good luck to her & her family, they are in God's hands now.

Thank you, all. Debbie is an earth angel (as is her hubby) and it's sad she has to face her Mom's struggle. Debbie actually works for the American Cancer Society and coordinates all the Relay for Life events in several cities around the area. It is her passion. (Karentia, you have many times reminded me of her.)

Awe, that is so sweet! Thank you, Always! I know what she does, as I am learning so much from my ACS partner, Amy! It is a wonderful job, and I know some people can burn out on it, where others keep on shining! She is in a good place, where everyone around her will be there for her.

I'll add them to my list as well Always. I keep hoping that all the money people like Karentia raise will one day put an end to this horrid disease.

Got GOOD news from Debbie today. The specialist doctor has revised the first doctor's original diagnosis to an earlier stage of the cancer (much more treatable) and seems very optimistic of being able to treat her Mom's condition. It's a very rare form of cancer so most hospitals and doctors really can't diagnose it properly. This is the profound importance of getting a second opinion when it comes to anything major! Thanks for all your prayers! Hope you'll keep her in your prayers till it's clear!

Some prayers get a fast response!!!
I'm so glad to hear good news about Debbie and her mother. Hoping they remember that no one has a 'sell by' date and doctors can do a lot but they can't predict how the human spirit responds to a challenge.

Prayers also help in the "getting in contact with the right person" department. Guidance is always important!
